“The agreements provide discount cards for retirees, eligible individuals and "People of Determination"HH Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Social Solidarity Fund for the Ministry of Interior Employees, witnessed at Ministry of Interior HQs yesterday the signing of two Memoranda of Understanding that empowers the Fund’s social role. The Memoranda were signed in the presence of Sheikh Khalid bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Zayed Higher Organization for Humanitarian Care and Special Needs.
The first memorandum was signed between the Social Solidarity Fund for the Employees of Ministry of Interior “Faz’aah” and Zayed Higher Organization for Humanitarian Care and Special Needs, while the second was signed between Faz’aah and the Abu Dhabi Retirement Pensions & Benefits Fund.The first memorandum of understanding was signed by Abdulla Abd Al-‘Aali Al-Humaidan, Acting Secretary-General of Zayed Higher Organization for Humanitarian Care and Special Needs, and Lt.Colonel/Ahmed Abu Haroun for Social Solidarity Fund for the Employees of the Ministry of Interior “Faz’aah”.
Under the said memorandum, special cards are issued for “People of Determination” that qualify them to receive distinctive services including discounts on wide range of shopping and promotions, along with the collaborative services provided by “Faza’ah” to its members.While the second Memorandum was signed by Mr. Khalaf Rahma Al Hammadi, for Abu Dhabi Retirement Pensions & Benefits Fund and Lt. Colonel Ahmed Abu Haroun, Director of Social Collaboration, Ministry of Interior, for “Faza’ah” Under the said MOU deduction cards are given to pensioners and eligible persons, which cards provide discounts on purchases, food products and hotel bookings on the lowest possible rates.
The signing of the two memoranda was attended by each of Major General Salim Mubarak Al Shamsi, Acting Assistant Undersecretary of Resources and Support Services, Brigadier General Mohammed Humaid bin Dalmuj Al Dhahiri, Secretary General of the Office of HH the Deputy Prime Minister and Acting Minister of Interior, Brigadier General Mohammad Rashid Keshim Al Shamsi, Director of Ministry Affairs, and Eng. Brigadier General Hussein Ahmed Al Harthy, Director General of E-Services and Communications , Ministry of Interior and a number of officers from Ministry of Interior.
The signature ceremony was also attended by Mohammed Al Sewaidi, Director of General Secretary Office, Afrah Al Mashjari and Alaa Al Arnaouti from Zayed Higher Organization for Humanitarian Care & Special Needs. Further, from Abu Dhabi Retirement Pensions & Benefits Fund attended Mr. Hussain Al Mosawi, the Fund’s Acting Director, Faisal Al Jabiri, Director Of Customer Happiness and Fatima Al Sheraiqi, the Fund’s Director of Government Communication.
Al-Humaidan welcomed the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between the ZHO and the Social Solidarity Fund for the employees of the Ministry of Interior “Faz’aah”, indicating that it represents the incarnation of the wise leadership vision in achieving social integration and encouraging the building of a society with equal opportunities for all. He added that this MOU reflects the government principles of empowering cooperation and coordination among different organizations and institutions to serve the category of “People of Determination”.
He also praised the role played by the Ministry of Interior and valued the attention and keenness paid to the categories of “People of Determination” by HH Lt.General/ Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior. Such role is represented through the launch of several humanitarian initiatives, including “Seedling of Hope” initiative and other initiatives dedicated by His Highness to serve these categories.
He also expressed his best thanks and appreciation to His Highness the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior for his outstanding efforts in supporting the categories of “People of Determination” in general and for the many initiatives adopted by His Highness to the service and care of these categories.He confirmed the keenness and follow-up of HH Sheikh Khalid Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Zayed Higher Organization for Humanitarian Care and Special Needs, on launching a number of initiatives aimed at providing the highest quality and distinctive services along with developing care and rehabilitation for the categories of “People of Determination”, in accordance with the best international practices.
Al-Humaidan also praised the efforts of the Social Solidarity Fund for Employees of the Ministry of Interior as a public welfare organization, based on the principle of social solidarity. The program launched by the Fund «Faz’aah Program», aims to provide distinct and high quality services to associate members of the Program.
Al-Humaidan emphasized that the Zayed Higher Organization for Humanitarian Care and Special Needs seeks, through the signing of this memorandum, to lay the foundations of partnership and cooperation of long-term relationships that play a pivotal role in activating communication with all governmental bodies and other institutions, especially public welfare associations.
HE Sheikh Khalifa bin Rashid Al Hammadi, Director General of Abu Dhabi Retirement Pensions & Benefits Fund, thanked His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior and Chairman of the Social Solidarity Fund for Employees of Ministry of the Interior for this initiative. This initiative, which aims to provide retirees and beneficiaries registered in the Abu Dhabi Pension Fund, the benefits offered by the program, including a wide range of exclusive services and programs that contribute to the achievement of happiness. Al-Hammadi stressed that partnerships and cooperation among government agencies are not limited to improving operations and exchanging of data and systems, but extends to study the social and living needs of citizens.
